The 5th edition of the Lagos Carnival came up on Easter Monday 21st April
2014. The event which attracted hundreds of thousands in attendance took off
from Awolowo Road, to Campos Square, and then to Tafawa Balewa Square.
Colorful Carnival bands across Lagos State graced the occasion. Among them
were, the Ikoyi Carnival band, Agege, Alimosho, Lekki, Ojota, Isolo, Surulere
carnival bands
and many others.

The carnival also has in attendance the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Adejoke
Orelope-Adefulire, the first lady of Lagos state, Dame Emanuella Abimbola
Fashola, Thomas Okoya and others.
